Nation wide Protests

.“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win” ~ Mahatma Gandhi

I strongly and unequivocally believe that the fate of any country is in the hands of “Aam Aadmi” coming together and taking a stand. Yesterday (8/1/2020) was observed as Bharat Bandh day in India. It was called by various trade unions of sectors such as Banks, Insurance,Manufacturing, Railways etc.

Every day in our country is yet another protest on a nation wide level. Although it’s good to see the country come together but with no doubt it reminds us of the pre-emergency days in which ironically even our present Prime minister participated actively as a student leader.

Present governance as well as Delhi police are not yet able to identify the masked goons who raided JNU. Yesterday there was a protest in Delhi university and more surprisingly in St Stephen college this is the first time ever in the history of this institution that students protested like this.

By observing closely, any one can decipher that this corporate backed present govt doesn’t have any clue how to address the present crisis and they are trying their best to divert the core issues. The cancellation of our PM’s Asaam visit twice in a month (which is his own party ruled state) shows their desperation

We the people of India still hope that the present government will start addressing the problems vertically (rich, upper middle class, middle class, poor, bpl) rather than  horizontally (Hindu / Muslim) so our nation can be back on track.
