Mahatma Gandhi’s civil resistance and “satyagrah” movement guided India towards Independence in 1947. Once again, our Nation has united and risen together for the sake of truth.
Shahinbagh Satyagrah is an example of the widespread resentment towards our present government. I am hopeful it will enlighten more individuals against the divisive policies and violation of fundamental rights guaranteed by the constitution. Also, in a country where we worship goddesses, the comments made by the Spokesperson and IT Cell of our ruling “majority” party against the ladies protesting at Shahin Bagh is truly deplorable.
I also want to draw your attention towards the treatment of foreign investor like Amazon in our country. At a time when our country is on economic doldrums - our ministers are busy criticizing Jeff Bezos reasons well known. Please note, Amazon currently employees more than x people and plans on further investment in the come years. My educated guess is that this shrewd criticism stems from Washington Posts’s (owned by Amazon) critique against the present government.
Statement of CDS on Kashmiri youths are highly objectionable it looks CDS is making such type of statements to please his bosses who like such type of matters to be there to divert the attention of the people from core issues.
The present conditions in our country are alarming on all fronts - Economic Growth, Inflation, Law and Order, Student Unrest, amongst others. However, these ongoing protests gives me hope that our country is united and we will be able to protect our constitution and not let it be destroyed.
Jai hind
